Another great show! It was very relaxing to listen to you both just banter on a Monday morning. Sometimes I miss the shows you two do without a guest. It’s a nice way to ease into the week and see what’s coming. Oh and Marc, the hats are fabulous!
Mark, that African language with the click as a phoenetic sound is called khlosa. I had a friend in college from South Africa who spoke it. He was hot (I think he was Dutch).

Speaking of him, your comments were really true today regarding boyfriends and who gets them when they are ready for them. It has taken me a long time to really to the point in my life where I was ready for a relationship and my life was stable enough to support one.
And then, BAM. Out of nowhere, this wonderful guy who is basically everything I’ve ever hoped for, comes into my life! So, yeah, people….it can definitely happen to you. You just have to be ready and open for it! Just be yourself and you can find the right person for you…..many times when you’re not even looking!

I have to agree with the whole get your shit together and shit will fall in your lap philosophy too. When I met my husband I had finally gotten myself my own place, a stable job, a reliable car, was paying my bills and living healthy. Then, one morning I get a message online from this cute guy with a killer smile. By that night, he was at my place and we were up half the night talking about old movies, tv shows, saturday morning cartoons and fucking around on the couch.
And now, with a stable relationship after 7 years, we are always looking up the mountain at what we can tackle together next. So yes, worry about getting your own life together and the rest seems to sort itself out. But for goodness sake, keep your eyes open when you’re shopping at Whole Foods. That guy buying chicken broth next to you may be the love of your life.
I just heard Eartha Kitt sing “Waray-Waray” on Youtube. That was too awesome. Waray-waray women = Xena: Warrior Princess ™ = lesbians = gays = FOF! It all comes together.

And you guys helped me a lot in this show with your “get your shit together” philosophy. Cause right now my shit’s all over the walls and, yes, in the bathtub. It’s everywhere. I’m trying to get it together, but it’s hard. Times are rough… just wanted you to know that you gave me a little ray of hope today.
