FOF #1739 – Send in the Clowns

Feb 11, 2013 · 55818 views

Taylor Swift used the her opening number at the Grammys to take a pot shot at her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles from the boy-band One Direction. As if we weren’t sick enough of her croaking about her ex-boyfriends as it is, Taylor was put onstage with a bunch of equally annoying clowns.

Speaking of clowns, Chris Brown got beaten by someone his own size. As Frank Ocean accepted the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album, his rival, and maybe ex-boyfriend Chris Brown remained seated while the rest of the audience gave him a standing ovation.

Madonna on Instagram says she’s “addicted to sweat.” We’re guessing she’s addicted to plastic surgery too.

Today Brian Sweeney joins us to dish the dirt on the Grammys otherwise know as the awards show for music they play in restaurants, elevators and malls.

Why most pop stars were dressed as food.

Is musician Ed Sheeran HIV positive?

Rihanna gets cozy with Chris Brown.

And there’s an online petition to pressure DC Comics to drop homophobe Orson Scott Card as a writer for their new digital Adventures of Superman.

Brian, here are ten comments for you…comment, comment, comment, comment, comment, comment, comment, comment, comment, comment. Do you feel special yet? Cause you are :)

  2. I’ve been bad about not commenting on the shows as much anymore. I download the shows onto my iPhone and listen to them when I work out at the gym, and I always forget to post a comment when I am back at my computer at home.

always love having Brian on the show! and Meredith too! I hope they stick around, so may other regular-ish guests have all moved to L.A.

I will try to comment on the shows more often. I also never use Facebook so I never ask questions there….

I love when you have Brian Sweeney as guest 😀

If you guys wanna talk more in depth about DC comics and the Jimmy/Jenny Olson deal, trans-feminist-geek-blogger Natalie Reed has many, many opinions on the subject, and is always clever and incisive. :)

  5. Brian Sweeney always makes me laugh! Loving Willam, Detox and Vicky Vox!
