Sex, Fetishes, and Social Networking. OH MY!

International Mr Leather or IML is fast approaching!  In less than two weeks, thousands of leather and kink enthusiasts will descend upon Chicago for a fun weekend-long event with plenty of networking opportunities.  Are you ready?

But wait, what if you aren’t able to attend?!?!  Well you’re in luck!  A new social networking site has emerged to Facebook-ize the fetish community-FetLife. It has every kink you fetishize.  Sure, other sites like this already exist, like Recon, but most fetish sites are pretty homo-centric, whereas FetLife is open to a larger community.  It’s not just gay men- straight, gay, bisexual, transgender, whatever you are, you are welcome.

In my opinion, this could provide a great framework for true networking instead of simply hooking up (which isn’t a bad thing).  In all honesty, Facebook can be pretty cruisy at times.

Since I am a social-networking junkie I added a profile, and I am going to stalk the site for a bit.  I’ll update if something interesting comes about with this new website.

Well, and let’s face it, a little  kink every now and then can be fun!
