Comedian Jamie Campbell got beaten up on the street after a late night gig, leaving one side of his face heavily bruised. Instead of taking time off to let the bruises heal, Jamie did stand up about his terrifying experience.
Today Jamie Campbell joins us to talk about doing historic musicals in Texas, driving a munitions truck in the army and taking his bruises and turning them into comedy gold.

Hey! I’m one of those chickens pining over Steve Grand! I’m a boy, I’m all American, and I drink whiskey. I can’t pay in cash, but I have other currency. And he wouldn’t have to void the night from his memory! A boy can dream.
If I were Jamie, I probably would have made up an elaborate story to explain the bruise.
This paper hasn’t been peer reviewed, yet, and it is an untestable theory, which doesn’t make for very good science.
