Comparing anyone to Hitler is stupid, but when the leading Republican candidate mimics Hitler’s rise to power, how can you blame anyone for making that comparison?

Today, comedian Brian Sweeney joins us to take a look at his new book “Trump’s America, the Complete Loser’s Guide” which he collaborated on with Scott Dikkers, the co-founder of the Onion.

Welcome back, Brian! We missed you!

I hope you do have a good legal defense fund. You wrote the book on Trump, so you know he sues anyone who makes fun of him. He is a fascist.

  2. colaboy29 says:

It’s great to hear Brian again! Brian, don’t be a stranger! 😉

  3. Federico says:

In the episode you were joking about having Trump as president just to see what happens next.

You’d end up with a Berlusconi on a larger scale and trust me: it’s not much fun. We’ve had to deal with him for more than 20 years here in Italy and we’re still recovering from his two governments.

Berlusconi did what Trump is doing: drop a stupid joke, make an irriverent sexist remark and that’s what everyone will talk about. In the meanwhile you can fuck up the country unnoticed.

Anyone who was against him in the media would be fired. Comedians couldn’t make fun of him or would lose they tv deals.

The only way to have a career in a public position was to worship him if you were a man or flirt with him if you were a (good looking) woman.

Learn from old Italy: been there, done that, didn’t work.

On a positive note: it’s great to have Brian back!

What happened to FoF #2303 boys??

  5. Curtis says:

Can we please refrain from demonizing Sanders supporters who are using hyperbole during a primary. It’s a primary, there is no parallel to the Nader 3rd party candidacy. What passionate people say during a primary is not truly reflective of what will happen once a Democratic candidate is definitively chosen.

Thanks for calling out the use of “sexism” accusations as a way that the Clinton campaign manipulates the race. I have found it to be the equivalent – ironically of calling someone Hitler – it is meant to immediately shut down dialogue and immediately casts anyone defending the alleged perpetrator as also sexist.

  6. Tim Webster says:

Brian is seriously one of the funniest people on earth. And I love your chemistry with him on the show.
